Given a string containing just the characters
'('
, ')'
, '{'
, '}'
, '['
and ']'
, determine if the input string is valid.
An input string is valid if:
- Open brackets must be closed by the same type of brackets.
- Open brackets must be closed in the correct order.
Note that an empty string is also considered valid.
Example 1:
Input: "()" Output: true
Example 2:
Input: "()[]{}" Output: true
Example 3:
Input: "(]" Output: false
Example 4:
Input: "([)]" Output: false
Example 5:
Input: "{[]}" Output: true
Java Solution :
class Solution {
public boolean isValid(String s) {
Stack<Character> stack = new Stack<Character>();
for(char c : s.toCharArray()){
if(c == '{' || c == '['|| c == '('){
stack.push(c);
}else if(c == '}' && !stack.isEmpty() && stack.peek()=='{'){
stack.pop();
}else if(c == ']' && !stack.isEmpty() && stack.peek()=='['){
stack.pop();
}else if(c == ')' && !stack.isEmpty() && stack.peek()=='('){
stack.pop();
}else{
return false;
}
}
return stack.isEmpty();
}
}
